Meelin Community Council
Meelin Community Council was set up on 20th February 1997 with a view to improving the village and bringing it in line with our many neighbouring towns and villages through the availability of renewal grants.
With an active committee, the assistance of Cork County Council & FÁS and the help from the local community, money received through grants and fund-raising was put to good use and many aspects of the village were updated and renewed.
The community council hopes to continue this work as funding becomes available and and are always open to new suggestions. New members are always welcome
